What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

• Conduct audits and risk assessments, communicating findings and recommendations for improvement through detailed reports
• Ensure management is informed about the risks associated with noncompliance to information security standards and regulatory requirements
• Develop and revise policies, standards, and procedures based on organizational needs
• Collaborate with various teams to implement process improvements and respond to security inquiries
• Monitor risks and propose preventive measures to mitigate future risks

What is Required (Qualifications):

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 1-3 years of experience in information technology/information security auditing, preferably in a software engineering environment
• Technical knowledge of audit and risk concepts within information technology and security contexts
• Familiarity with frameworks such as FedRAMP, StateRAMP, CMMC, ISO 27001:2013, SOC2, and NIST Cyber Security Framework
• Excellent communication and presentation skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

• Experience writing audit findings, reports, policies, and procedures
• Working knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and improvement programs like Total Quality Management, ISO 9001, or Six Sigma
• Experience managing projects and tracking implementation progress
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in risk management software
