Job Title Global Procurement Senior Manager - Logistics

Salary $150-200k + bonus
Job Responsibilities The candidate will lead the North American procurement function for ground transport, contract logistics and multi-modal transportation.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies for transportation services.
- Manage the RFP process for carriers.
- Negotiate contracts with carriers to secure favorable rates and terms.
- Monitor carrier performance and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Analyze data to optimize transportation network efficiency.
- Manage the procurement budget for transportation services.
- Utilize transportation network modeling tools and techniques to optimize shipping routes, carrier selection, and overall logistics efficiency.
- Understand the sustainability landscape in transport solutions, including alternative fuels and other applications, through experience or partner interactions.
Job requirements - Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Global Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Experience with North American transportation regulations.
- Proficiency in transportation management software and data analysis tools.
- Experience with specific transportation modes (truckload, LTL, intermodal).
- Project management and sponsorship experience.
- Proven leadership abilities.
- Deep understanding of industry best practices in pricing, rate structuring, and methodologies.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills.
- Operational experience in logistics, specifically in contract logistics, ground transport, brokerage, or multi-modal transportation.
- Familiarity with technology-based benchmarking and RFP software is a plus. COGS
