An investigative accounting internship position is available for August 2025 to December 2025 and January 2026 to May 2026. The start and end dates are flexible.
During your internship, you'll gain real-world experience working with talented professionals in investigative accounting engagements. This involves working with commercial property insurers to evaluate physical damage and business income losses suffered by businesses resulting from catastrophes. Projects may include reviewing and analyzing historical financial and industry information, revenue and expense projections, insurance claim evaluations, and economic damage evaluations. Assignments provide exposure to a wide range of industries from small local retail stores to multinational entities.
The successful candidate will have the following requirements: Junior or senior level student, accounting major, minimum 3.0 GPA, proficient understanding of Microsoft Windows and Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel skills that are considered to be an intermediate or advanced level. The candidate should also be open to training in other Windows-based applications. Motivation and enthusiasm are essential as our clients expect high levels of service and expertise. Self-starters who demonstrate an interest in learning new skills and concepts, then put them to work for our clients are sought.

Compensation for this role typically ranges between $30 - $32/hour and is determined by many factors including individual candidate experience, qualifications, and comparable benchmarks.
