Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Manager / Accounting Manager to oversee the financial operations of our manufacturing facility in Mequon, WI. This role will be responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, cost accounting, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, hands-on experience with ERP systems, and a solid background in manufacturing accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including AP/AR, general ledger, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes in accordance with GAAP.
• Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and management reports.
• Lead standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory accounting for manufacturing operations.
• Partner with operations and supply chain teams to monitor cost efficiencies and identify savings opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, corporate policies, and external audit requirements.
• Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits and tax filings.
• Manage and mentor accounting staff; support ongoing professional development.
• Implement process improvements to streamline accounting and reporting functions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or MBA preferred).
• 5+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, with at least 2 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of standard cost accounting, inventory valuation, and manufacturing KPIs.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics preferred).
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial reporting tools.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
