Job Description Responsibilities: Conduct Phase I Environmental Site Assessments and Phase II Investigations following ASTM Standards. Perform multi-media sampling (soil, soil vapor, groundwater, indoor air, methane, surface water, sediment, etc.). Prepare lithological logs and boring logs. Write reports and prepare supporting documentation. Design Vapor Intrusion Mitigation Systems, both conceptual and detailed, under the supervision of a California Registered Professional Engineer. Potential for long field days and work at job sites throughout Northern California. Prepare and manage proposals and budgets. Manage small to mid-scale projects and support larger projects. Balance office and field work, with an emphasis on office tasks. Communicate project status, schedules, and compliance issues with clients, third parties, and regulatory agencies. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, or related field. At least 4 years of related environmental experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and programs such as AutoCAD, Surfer, and/or ArcGIS; experience with field equipment. 40 Hour HAZWOPER training. Professional certification (PE/PG). Knowledge of remediation systems and vapor intrusion mitigation systems. Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
