As a personal lines agent, you will be an employee of the agency and not of Farmers Insurance or its affiliates. Agency staff members perform the fundamental role of offering insurance products and building relationships with the community. Agents have the opportunity to work as a member of a team of professionals focused on providing insurance and financial products to help customers protect their homes, cars, livelihoods, and so much more! An additional benefit of starting as an agent here is the potential to grow your career with the agency. The launch date is December 2, 2024 for this new agency.

ResponsibilitiesClient Engagement: Communicate effectively with potential clients to understand their insurance needs and offer the most suitable solutions.
Inbound and Outbound Calls: Manage a high volume of calls with a strong focus on customer service and satisfaction.
Custom Plan Creation: Develop personalized insurance proposals that cater to the specific requirements of each client.
Sales Conversion: Effectively convert inquiries into sales by demonstrating product knowledge and building customer trust.
Relationship Maintenance: Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients to support retention and future sales opportunities.
Goal Achievement: Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to team success with a positive attitude.

Licensing: Willingness to obtain relevant Maine insurance licenses upon hiring. Bonuses are available if license are obtained before hire!
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication proficiency.
Sales Acumen: Demonstrated ability or interest in learning effective sales techniques.
Customer Focused: A genuine interest in meeting client needs with enthusiasm and professionalism.
Adaptability: Flexibility to work effectively both remotely and in an office environment.
Team Collaboration: Eagerness to work within a team setting and contribute positively to team goals.
Tech Competency: Basic knowledge of CRM software and modern communication tools is a plus.
