Desired Qualifications: A Distribution Engineering Associate is an entry-level position in the field of electrical engineering, focused on assisting in the design, planning, and management of electrical distribution systems. These professionals work under the guidance of experienced engineers to ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable distribution of electrical power.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist in Distribution System Design: Collaborate with senior engineers to design, plan, and optimize electrical distribution systems. Help create detailed drawings and plans for distribution infrastructure.
- Data Collection: Collect and analyze data related to the distribution network, including load data, system performance data, and asset information. Use data to assist in decision-making.
- Equipment Selection : Assist in the selection and specification of distribution equipment, such as transformers, circuit breakers, switches, and protective devices, considering voltage levels and load requirements.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure that distribution system designs and plans comply with safety standards, environmental regulations, and industry codes. Assist in obtaining regulatory approvals.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of distribution equipment and infrastructure.
