The Job:
As an Engineer, Manufacturing Engineering, you'll be part of our Tools & Outdoor team working as an onsite employee. You'll get to:
\n - Technical support for all manufacturing machines. Includes troubleshooting, repair, repair parts inventory, sourcing of parts and outside technical support.
\n - Documentation of machine repair schedules and parts (prints, lists, control files and reports)
\n - Troubleshoot and write PLC programs
\n - Research of equipment, parts, supplies and suppliers
\n - Communicate effectively with internal customers and external vendors to ensure supplies are available so that production schedules and quality requirements are being met
\n - Technical support for building equipment and systems
\n - Design and documentation of parts, lists and systems
\n - Recommend continuous improvement opportunities
\n - Participate in continuous improvement projects related to the manufacturing process
\n - Maintain proper documentation in compliance with TS-16949

The Person:

\n - Associate's degree or demonstrated equivalent experience required.
\n - 5+ years of experience in manufacturing is required
\n - Must have at least basic ability to read, troubleshoot and edit PLC programs
\n - Experience with Microsoft Office applications and AutoCAD 2000 or newer
\n - Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
\n - Ability to read and understand technical documents such as hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical schematics
\n - Ability to document and fabricate/machine components from sketch or supplied part
\n - Project Management & Process Development
\n - Basic mathematical understanding and ability (add, subtract, divide units of measurement)
\n - Ability to stay focused on work and manage multiple projects timely
\n - Ability to sit at a desk approximately 50% of the time
