Your Role: What You Will Do
- Ensure the smooth operation of company equipment, including electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, control devices, and HVAC systems.
- Perform electrical repairs, troubleshooting, and scheduled inspections, adhering to our guidelines and procedures.
- Collaborate with program leaders to uphold our electrical safety program and ensure compliance.
- Follow all quality systems and safety procedures, including environmental regulations, OSHA, PSM, and Corteva's safety protocols.
- Propose improvements for safety through electrical programs and process enhancements.
- Take on various other duties as assigned.
What You Bring: Requirements and Qualifications
- You have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- You thrive on working with machines and electrical components!
- When challenges arise, you see exciting opportunities to troubleshoot and implement solutions!
- You hold a valid US Driver's License.
- You possess a solid understanding of the National Electric Code (NEC).
- You’re tech-savvy and proficient in Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and eager to learn new software.
- You can work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- You have strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- You’re physically capable of climbing, standing, and lifting up to 50 lbs, and you can work in various environmental conditions.
- You excel at scheduling work and diligently follow up on completion status.
- You value health and safety, ensuring you and your colleagues go home safely every day.
- You understand the importance of supporting operations for optimal uptime and are willing to work overtime and shifts, including weekends and holidays during peak seasons.
What Makes You Stand Out
- Associate or Two-Year Trade School Degree in a Technical, Electrical, or Mechanical field.
- Experience with Automation and Programmable Logic Controls (PLC).
- Previous industrial maintenance experience with electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, instrumentation, controls, HVAC, and general maintenance.
Working Conditions
- This role is dedicated to our Corteva location, requiring 100% on-site presence.
