Job Title: Electrical Tester

Location: Richmond, VA

Job Type: Full-Time / Contract

We are seeking a Manufacturing Electrical Tester with hands-on experience in power distribution equipment to join a leading team in the electrical manufacturing sector. This role plays a key part in ensuring that critical power products meet the highest quality and performance standards before deployment.

In this position, you'll be responsible for testing and inspecting electrical systems during the manufacturing process, following strict procedures to ensure compliance with both technical specifications and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform functional and quality testing on electrical equipment, including Power Distribution Units (PDUs), Static Transfer Switches (STSs), and Automatic Transfer Switches (ATSs)
• Follow detailed testing procedures and technical manuals to ensure accurate results
• Identify, document, and report any non-conformities or failures
• Work closely with engineers and production staff to troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues
• Maintain a strong focus on safety and follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines

Qualifications:

• Technical degree or certification in electrical engineering or related field
• Proven electrical testing background, ideally in a manufacturing environment
• Hands-on experience with PDUs, STSs, and ATSs
• Strong troubleshooting skills and familiarity with fail-safe and safety-first philosophies
• Understanding of agile workflows, design thinking, and test documentation
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize multiple tasks
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship
