Responsibilities:

If you are looking for a career and have hands-on mechanical skills, you may be a good fit for the job of disassembling, repairing, and reassembling electric motor equipment. A position such as this will allow you to have your own work area with plenty of space to store your own tools.

Job Requirements:

· Responsible for the safe repair of various kinds of electrical / mechanical equipment including diagnostic troubleshooting, disassembly, accurate measurement of mechanical fits & critical dimensions, data collection, failure analysis, repair, reassembly and testing.

· Proper use of testing and measuring equipment such as a multimeter, calipers, surge tester etc.

· Proper use of PPE as required by job task.

· Responsible for the initial evaluation of customer equipment to determine repairs needed.

· Thorough documentation on proper job forms

· Keeping work area clean and organized

· Written/verbal communication

· Understanding mechanical equipment

· Organization skills

· Prior industrial maintenance experience preferred

Qualified person must have at least basic mechanical skills, preferably industrial. They must be able to pass a preemployment drug screen. He/she must be able to lift, push or pull up to 70 pounds.
