The Swiftwater is currently seeking to hire a Director Of Sales to join our team! You will be responsible for overseeing and developing a sales strategy to drive company revenue at the Poconos newest luxury property.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute a proactive sales strategy to drive top-line revenue, with a focus on corporate business travel (BT), outbound sales, and strategic partnerships.
  • Develop and maintain key corporate accounts while actively prospecting and closing new business across all revenue channels.
  • Implement targeted sales activations to maximize revenue opportunities in corporate, group, and transient segments.
  • Collaborate with the revenue strategy team to optimize pricing strategies and ensure rate integrity across all booking platforms.
  • Establish strong relationships with corporate travel managers, meeting planners, and industry partners to position The Swiftwater Hotel as the preferred luxury destination throughout the Pocono region.
  • Create and execute a dynamic sales action plan that includes measurable goals, KPIs, and innovative strategies to drive demand.
  • Work closely with marketing and PR teams to design and implement promotional materials and campaigns that align with sales objectives.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and accountability for the sales team, and front-office team fostering a high-performance, revenue-focused culture.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Represent the hotel at key industry events, networking opportunities, and trade shows to strengthen market presence and secure new business.
  • Build and maintain relationships with high-profile clientele and key industry partners to enhance the hotel's market position.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for the executive team, offering insights and recommendations for continuous improvement

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or related field
  • Experience as a supervisor or manager
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Ability to build rapport with clients
