The Human Resources Director is Responsible for providing the Human Resources support for assigned business groups and others as needed. Maintain relationships by being a true Senior Human Resources Business Partner with all levels of management. Provide HR support, recommendations and guidance, focused on employee engagement, performance management, head count and employee relations. Collaboration with business leadership and US HR team members, leading HR projects in performance management, process improvement, learning & Development, investigations and ability to identify organizational gaps. Strong experience in MS office especially with Excel is a plus.

Provide HR leadership and partnering with senior management on all human capital needs including organizational design and development, employee and management development, and talent review and identification.
• Support Affirmative Action Plan and action items as needed.
• Responsible for employee relations within assigned groups, including providing guidance to management on appropriate level of disciplinary actions and partnering with legal as needed.
• Responsible for supporting and managing annual and mid-year performance management process and systems along with site HR team.
• Responsible for conducting thorough & objective investigations as needed.
• Serve as an agent of change during times of significant growth, reorganizations, leadership changes and other periods of change.
• Work with HR and Operations teams to assist with the planning, communicating and tracking of site and company – wide initiatives.
• Conduct needs assessment, and identify resources to deliver training and other programs to support the growth of the site.
• Develop HR policies and programs and communication plans as needed.
• Support PHL Recruiting Team on interviewing, compensations and job offers. Coach and mentor recruiters assigned to site recruiting activities.
• Compile and review site metrics; reduce voluntary attrition.
• Responsible for New Hire Orientation Program including monitoring program, creating and revising presentations, scheduling, modifying & enhancing.
• Works on routine assignments per written procedures, where ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required.
• Receives minimal instructions on routine work and detailed instructions on new assignments.
• Accomplish results by communicating updated organizational information, job expectations & supporting their work through multiple avenues within the site & US HR team.
• Develops, coordinates, and follows organizational systems, policies, procedures, and follows labor and capacity standards
• Contributes to the overall operations and to the achievement of departmental goals
• Perform job specific tasks in compliance with applicable Regulations, International Standards, and Advance Therapies Policies and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Thorough understanding of Good Laboratory Practices and Good Manufacturing Practices
• Other duties as assigned
• May be required to assist in other departments
Experience / Education
• HS Diploma or equivalent required, Associate or Bachelors Degree preferred
• 5+ years relevant experience
• PHR or SPHR Certification a plus
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
• Knowledge of Federal, state and local laws pertaining to personnel administration and various compensation and benefit plans and practices.
• Demonstrated success in employee relations, and performance management
• Proficient in Oral & Written communication skills
• Need to be able to read, write and understand English
• Proficient in Microsoft (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Travel is required 10% , Domestic/International, Daily / Overnight
