Position Summary:

The McGee Group is seeking a Digital Marketing & E-Commerce Specialist to support and execute digital marketing and e-commerce strategies across various online platforms. This role will assist the marketing team in executing campaigns, maintaining digital platforms, optimizing e-commerce performance, and analyzing key performance metrics. The ideal candidate is organized, creative, and data-driven, with hands-on experience in digital content management, email campaigns, e-commerce platforms, and advertising tools.

Experience in the optical, fashion, or retail industries is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

Digital Marketing

  • Execute digital marketing campaigns across email, paid advertising, and web platforms.
  • Manage and deploy email campaigns using tools such as Mailchimp or Hubspot.
  • Write and edit copy for digital assets, including email, landing pages, ads, and social posts.
  • Monitor and report on digital campaign performance using Google Analytics, SEMrush, and related tools.
  • Support SEO/SEM initiatives, including keyword research, metadata updates, and page optimization.
  • Update and maintain website content using WordPress and assist in site QA and troubleshooting.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to deliver marketing assets on time.
  • Support social media performance tracking and assist with content calendar planning.

E-Commerce

  • Assist in managing the company’s e-commerce platforms and product listings (e.g., Shopify, Amazon, or others).
  • Upload, organize, and update product information including images, pricing, and descriptions.
  • Monitor site merchandising and recommend improvements to enhance product visibility and user experience.
  • Track and report on key e-commerce KPIs such as conversion rates, average order value, and cart abandonment.
  • Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to ensure seamless online customer experiences.
  • Identify and implement promotional campaigns, discount strategies, and product bundling.
  • Stay current on e-commerce best practices, UX/UI trends, and industry benchmarks.
  • Other duties and tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of hands-on experience in digital marketing and/or e-commerce.
  • Proficiency with website CMS tools such as WordPress; experience with e-commerce platforms is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics (GA4), Google Ads, and/or Meta Ads Manager.
  • Experience with email marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp, Hubspot).
  • Understanding of SEO and SEM strategies and tools (e.g., SEMrush).
  • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and able to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic HTML/CSS knowledge is a plus.
  • Experience in fashion, retail, or optical categories is preferred.
