Dermatology - Physician Opportunity Overview:

We are seeking a board-certified Dermatologist to deliver specialized medical and surgical care for conditions affecting the skin, hair, and nails within our healthcare system. This position encompasses responsibilities in outpatient clinics, inpatient consultations, teledermatology, educational roles, and involvement in quality assurance initiatives. Dermatologist - Physician Position – Pittsburgh Healthcare System

Description: The Dermatologist will ensure the highest quality of dermatological care while adhering to compliance standards. This role involves providing expert consultations and treatments in the outpatient Dermatology Clinic, along with performing necessary procedures.

Our dermatology team specializes in treating a variety of skin, hair, and nail conditions, ranging from acne and psoriasis to skin cancer. We also conduct skin cancer screenings and provide educational resources. Regular clinic visits and dermatologic surgeries are available for Veterans, and our board-certified dermatologists address medically necessary skin issues, including skin cancer and rashes, while offering referrals for complex cases and teledermatology services for prompt expert consultations.

Practice Highlights:

• Engagement in outpatient dermatology clinics, inpatient consultations, and teaching activities.
• Focus on both medical and surgical dermatology.
• Utilization of teledermatology with teledermoscopy.
• Collaboration with Dermatology Residents, Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants.
• Close cooperation with various medical subspecialties.
• Participation in local conferences and educational programs.
• Reviewing patient records and co-signing documentation.
• Involvement in quality assurance initiatives.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Preferred Qualifications:

• Board certification in dermatology.

Benefits Overview:

• Annual salary range: $306,000 - $400,000
• Regular salary adjustments and annual performance bonuses
