Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Dental Front Desk Receptionist to join our team! As a front desk receptionist, you will be responsible for greeting patients who come in the door, checking them in, patient scheduling, insurance verification and pulling relevant patient files or obtaining new patient information. You will also answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate place, mail or fax/email documentation and maintain excellent correspondence records. The ideal candidate is very organized, has strong customer service and interpersonal skills, and works well independently and within a team.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients who walk through the door
• Ascertain their needs and get them checked in
• Input and inquire insurance verification
• Answer the phone, schedule appointments and answer patient questions

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Attention to detail
• Familiarity with basic computer programs, such as the Microsoft Office suite
• Experience in dental software
• Knowledge of insurance verification
• Previous office experience desired
