Dental assistant/Oral Surgery Assistant

Texas Dental Implant Center delivers high-quality dental services. Our model provides an exceptional level of care, and we look to add a full-time specialty Dental Assistant to our office located in Houston, TX, Galleria area.

The Dental Assistant serves to support and provide on-site training to enhance office efficiency and workflow in preparation for specialty production days. The team member must enjoy teaching and interacting with staff members of all skill levels to improve patient experience and care. Safety is our top priority.

Day-to-day Responsibilities include:

• Assist the surgeon with patient care and sedations, and organize the treatment workflow to prepare for the next patient's treatment.
• Supply and equipment inventory - prepare supplies & equipment used for specialty procedures.
• Assist with pre-op and post op instructions.
• Implement changes and provide education and feedback to providers, departments, and offices in relation to denials that impact revenue.
• Demonstrate exceptional integrity and composure with patients, staff, and specialists.
• Corresponding with patients, if requested, who have any questions about treatments.
• Work with a great team of specialty assistants and surgeons.

Requirements:

• Professional customer service is required.
• BLS certified.
• Spanish speaker preferred, but not required.
