Dementia Experienced Caregivers- Monday thru Sunday - 9am to 5:30pm - Stamford, CT Collaborative Home Care is currently seeking a compassionate, reliable and experienced caregiver with a CAN-DO attitude to support an elderly couple (husband & wife) in Stamford. The role covers day shifts (9:00am-5:30pm) 7 days a week, split between two caregivers (one covering 4 days, the other 3 days). We are open to discussing which days work best for you, with the goal of building a consistent weekly schedule for the client. Pay Rate: $28 per hour Benefits: Competitive Pay: $28 per hour 1.5X Overtime Pay Direct Deposit and Weekly Pay Retirement Savings Program Paid Training To Foster Your Professional Growth Flexible Hours to Work Around Your Schedule Local Work Near Your Home Paid Sick Leave Paid Time Off Qualifications: Love for the senior community Extensive dementia experience Ability to handle care for two clients, with primary focus on the female client Patience, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills Reliability and genuine passion for caregiving Compassionate and upbeat attitude Strong commitment to reliability and dependability Self-directed, ability to work independently Effective communication in written and verbal forms Dedication to professional development A minimum of 1-year experience in caregiving for seniors Ability to lift 30-50 pounds Current valid Driver's License with clean record, auto insurance and reliable vehicle Current State ID and valid second form of ID (Social Security Card, Passport or Birth Certificate) Eligible to work in the United States Pass background check and drug testing per company standard Responsibilities: Provide hands‑on, non‑medical, quality care to clients of Collaborative Home Care. Carry out the plan of care including ADLs such as personal care, bathing, dressing, medication reminders. Companion care: conversation, hobbies, activities, shopping, driving to appointments. Work with minimal supervision, maintaining professional relationship with client in accordance with policies. Establish and maintain effective communication with clients, family members, and co‑workers. Perform other duties as assigned on the personal care service plan.
