Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Migration Project Manager to lead complex migration projects from planning to execution. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing large-scale data center relocations, consolidations, or cloud transitions. This role demands exceptional organizational skills, technical expertise, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver seamless migrations with minimal downtime. Migration Project Manager Responsibilities: Develop detailed project plans outlining timelines, budgets, resource needs, and risk management strategies Oversee the end-to-end data center migration process, including infrastructure design, testing, and implementation Collaborate with key stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and success criteria Act as the primary liaison between technical teams, vendors, and business units Identify potential risks associated with the migration and develop robust mitigation plans Ensure business continuity by planning for contingency scenarios Provide guidance on technical aspects of the migration, including network, storage, and server configurations Ensure compatibility and performance optimization of hardware and software post-migration Lead cross-functional teams, including network engineers, systems administrators, application owners, and external vendors Facilitate effective communication to ensure project milestones are met on schedule Ensure all migrations adhere to security standards and regulatory compliance requirements Monitor data integrity and protection during the migration process Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including migration plans, risk assessments, and post-migration evaluations Provide regular status reports to leadership and stakeholders Migration Project Manager Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field 5+ years of experience in IT project management, with a focus on data center migrations Proven experience in managing large-scale, high-stakes migration projects PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification ITIL certification Strong understanding of data center technologies, including servers, storage, networking, and virtualization Familiarity with cloud platforms and hybrid infrastructure environments Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively If you are interested in this Migration Project Manager opportunity and qualify per the above requirements, please apply today!
