Position Description: At a Glance Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Cybersecurity Intern to join the Building Control Systems Wattstopper Team in Carlsbad, CA. What Will You Do? Develop a deep understanding of the requirements of ioXt certifications. Contribute to ISO 27001 efforts across the company. Support development teams in Security Penetration testing. Track product progress in resolving security vulnerabilities. Qualifications: Required Skills Qualifications: At least two years in a Computer Science or Engineering Field with emphasis on Cybersecurity. Working towards a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Cybersecurity. Completion of at least one class in Cybersecurity or Information Systems Security. Skills/Knowledge/Abilities: A basic understanding of Cybersecurity in IP connected devices such as key management and security vulnerability testing. Strong communication skills must be able to adapt between highly technical audiences and business audiences with ease. Strong organizational skills ability to take a complex set of related activities and identify dependencies. Risk Management be able to identify risks to schedule and security based on vulnerability testing results; identify responsible individuals and follow-up frequently to achieve resolution. Critical Thinking be objective in analyzing situations; stay calm, distinguish between root cause vs. symptoms. Task Management must be able to multitask and prioritize work according to business needs.
