Job Description

Our client, a leading publicly traded bank, is seeking to add a BSA Analyst to their growing compliance team. The ideal candidate must have at least 2-3 years of experience in a BSA, FIU, or AML-related role within the financial services industry. Strong proficiency in Excel, particularly with VLOOKUP and pivot tables, is required to support data analysis for investigations. Candidates should also have direct experience conducting FIU reviews and investigating potentially suspicious activity. A solid understanding of BSA/AML regulations and banking compliance requirements is critical, as this role blends investigation, regulatory reporting, and internal compliance processes.

Responsibilities include:

• Conduct FIU reviews of customer accounts to identify and assess potentially suspicious or unusual activity, in line with internal policies and regulatory expectations.
• Perform thorough research, analysis, and investigations; complete and file Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs); and escalate findings to management as needed.
• Maintain a strong understanding of the bank’s products, customer base, and geographic footprint to support accurate and effective investigations; perform additional compliance-related tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of BSA, FIU, AML, or compliance-related experience within the financial services industry
• Proficiency in Excel, specifically with pivot tables and VLOOKUP
• Bachelor’s degree
