Commissary Assistant (Part-Time)
Applications are being accepted for a part-time Commissary Assistant.
Responsibilities: The Commissary Associate performs the essential duties of the Zoo’s commissary, including food preparation and storage. This position prepares animal diets in accordance with species-specific Diet Worksheets; assists the Commissary Supervisor with ordering and inventory; properly rotates, stores, and inspects animal food stocks; and maintains the kitchen, food storage areas, and equipment as instructed. Requirements: High school diploma or GED and one year of food preparation experience are preferred.
Benefits: This is a part-time position requiring availability for up to a 29-hour work week year-round.
