About the Role
The Company is seeking a College and Career Coach to join its ElevateEdAZ initiative. The successful candidate will work closely with high school educators and administrators to increase student enrollment in CTE pathways aligned with high-wage, high-demand sectors, enhance the attainment of industry credentials and early post-secondary credit, and expand work-based learning experiences. This role involves promoting CTE pathways, facilitating student career exploration, and coordinating various career development activities such as job shadows, internships, and on-campus events. The College and Career Coach will also be responsible for empowering educators through externships and will serve as a representative of the program within the school and the community. Applicants for the College and Career Coach position should have a minimum of 2 years' experience in volunteer management, counseling, coaching, education, or community relations, with at least 1 year of experience working with youth. The ideal candidate will have a background in industry and strategic plan implementation, a strong understanding of work-based, project-based, and experiential learning opportunities, and excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills. The role requires a detail-oriented individual who is proficient in MS Office, has reliable transportation, and can pass a background check, fingerprint clearance, and drug test. Personal attributes such as being innovative, resourceful, diplomatic, and collaborative, as well as a commitment to quality and excellence, are also essential.
