We are looking for early morning to early afternoon manager help. You will be trained by the current manager. As a manager/barista at Carrington Oaks Coffeehouse COLLIERVILLE, you will be expected to adapt to the changing needs throughout the store rapidly. You can easily start off by serving beverages or serving other food items to customers. Later, scheduling the coffeehouse workers or doing inventory.

As a Carrington Oaks Coffeehouse lead barista or manager, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Making customers feel VERY welcome to the cafe
• Prepare coffee and tea beverages for customers
• Recommend the coffeehouse’s products to undecided clientele
• Clean and maintain the store during downtime as needed
• Ensure that you are adhering to food safety procedures at all times
• Cash handling and accurately record customer order information
• Curbside transactions using POS equipment
• Resolve customer complaints quickly and efficiently as they arise
• Prepare food items.
• Training new employees to coffeehouse standards.

Managers/baristas at Carrington Oaks Coffeehouse work a range of different hours based on staffing needs. Typical time periods that you may be expected to come to work include early mornings until mid-afternoon.

In rare cases, overtime may occasionally be required during busy periods.

Barista Working Environment

Working as a manager/barista at Carrington Oaks Coffeehouse will require extended periods of standing and walking around quickly. Also, you must be comfortable working in a fairly confined area with multiple other employees around you.

Depending on the station you are assigned to, you will be exposed to hot temperatures while operating various cooking equipment, as well.

While stocking and moving equipment, you will also be crouching a lot throughout the day.

The starting pay for Carrington Oaks Coffeehouse baristas may vary considerably based on various factors, such as your previous work experience. As a lead or manager, you MAY be expected to work and learn the operation to later move into the manager position.
