We are seeking an experienced and flexible Senior Mill/Turn Operator to join our team. This role is ideal for a seasoned machinist who has experience setting up and operating various types of machines and is looking to take on a leadership role and grow within our company. The Mill/Turn machines are modern, CNC-controlled turning centers purchased recently, offering advanced automation and precision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain CNC Mill/Turn machines to produce high-quality components.
• Set up Mill/Turn machines, ensuring accurate calibration and alignment.
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate production.
• Systematically inspect parts in process to assure consistent quality; make adjustments accordingly.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes.
• Mentor and guide junior machinists, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience as a machinist, with experience setting up and operating various types of machines.
• Experience with precision manufacturing – aerospace, medical device, semiconductor.
• Strong technical mind with the ability to interpret complex technical drawings.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Leadership potential with the ability to mentor and guide team members.
• Flexibility and willingness to learn new techniques and processes.

Preferred Experience:

• Aerospace industry experience preferred.
• Previous experience in a senior or lead machinist role.
• Familiarity with CNC Mill/Turn operations and maintenance
