Position Summary The DevOps Engineer delivers on strategic commitments from start to finish for all aspects of the Clinical Services Group organization within ITG. This position is responsible for supporting day-to-day operation of critical infrastructure that allows our providers to provide the best care possible to patients across thousands of sites of care. An ideal candidate can quickly learn and make use of existing solutions as well as research and implement new technologies based on identified areas for improvement. Responsibilities Help build tools, automations, and infrastructure that enable teams that rely on SysOps to be successful with minimal interaction and manual intervention from team members Write code to automate operations in Python and Ansible Run our infrastructure with Ansible, Terraform, Python, PowerShell, Bash, etc. in a hybrid public cloud (Azure and GCP) and on-premise environment. Design and implement custom 24x7 monitoring and alerting solutions Document everything so you can turn your findings into repeatable actions and automations. Research, investigate, and implement new technologies Build monitoring that alerts of symptoms rather than on outages to stop issues before they happen. Be on an on-call rotation to response to incidents that impact critical processes that may impact patient care or financials. Requirements 1-3 years professional experience with Linux and Windows administration and management Have strong programming skills, ideally with a software engineering background using languages like Python, C#, Go, or Java. Experience with scripting languages like Bash/Shell and PowerShell a plus. Experience with relational database systems (MSSQL, MySQL, etc.) Experience with web server installation, configuration, and administration (Apache, Nginx, Tomcat, IIS) Experience implementing, configuring, and making use of monitoring tools (Dynatrace, Splunk, Datadog, ELK or LGMT stack, etc) Experience designing, implementing, and managing configuration management tools like Ansible or Chef Experience using Git for maintaining code, particularly in collaboration with many other engineers. Experience with build tools and CI/CD (Jenkins, TFS) like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Jenkins.
