Vargo Trucking Inc., a subsidiary of Lardon Construction Corporation, is a reputable, family-owned business based in Blasdell, New York. We pride ourselves on providing comprehensive trucking services, including dump trucks, dump trailers, walking floor trailers, flatbeds, roll-offs, and lowboy trailers. We are seeking dedicated and reliable Class A tractor-trailer drivers to join our team. This full-time, year-round position offers the opportunity to work locally while being part of a company that values community service and employee satisfaction.
Responsibilities - Operate Class A vehicles, including lowboy, walking floors, dump trailers, roll-offs, flatbeds, or dry van trailers.
- Ensure the safe and timely delivery of goods to various locations.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper maintenance of vehicles, both inside and out.
- Secure loads using appropriate tie-downs and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Represent the company professionally and uphold its values in all interactions.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL A license with no automatic restrictions.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and pre-employment/random drug testing.
- Strong decision-making and judgment skills.
- Experience preferred but not required; willingness to train the right candidate.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and build effective relationships within the organization.
Compensation
$23.00 - $35.00 per hour

- 5 PTO days accrued per NYS regulations over a 12-month period.
- 1 personal day and 6 paid holidays per year after a 90-day probation period.
