As a Child Care Education Administrator (Public Administration) you will be responsible for: Meeting all Head Start Performance Standards and State's Child Development Division (CDD) regulations for our Venice Family Clinic's Early Head Start Program's Family Child Care and Center Based option. Handling enrollment of children into the program, maintaining/monitoring the wait list, and working with appropriate staff to recruit as necessary. Meeting with and monitoring child care providers. Salary Range: $49,900.00 - $93,100.00 Annual Qualifications Required: California State Child Development Program Director permit. Excellent computer skills, including work experience with databases & creating Excel spreadsheets. Good verbal and written communication skills, and excellent interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational skills, and demonstrated skills necessary for reporting, monitoring and compliance. Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field. Administrative experience with child care programs serving infants and toddlers, and administrative experience managing a State Child Care grant in California. Experience with Head Start and/or Early Head Start. Knowledge of local and state health, safety and licensing regulations for child care facilities. Experience working with low-income families, and a strong commitment to the field of child and family development services.
