Chief Operating Officer – Multi-Location Commercial Contractor Services - Private Equity Ownership
Our client is a leading middle-market multi-location commercial services company in the midst of a mandate of growth and expansion. The company has a strong reputation for providing high quality services within their industry and is recognized for their ability to execute a complete suite of services in their field (installation; maintenance; repair; service). The company is backed by a leading private equity investor with a focus on introducing process and rigor to support organic and acquisitive growth before taking the company through an eventual sale process.
The Chief Operating Officer will be responsible for leading and executing the strategy of this organization, overseeing the day-to-day operations with full P&L responsibility for the business. As COO, you will be a strategic partner to the CEO and will execute on the investment thesis which includes building value creation through acquisition integration, consolidation, shared services creation and systems integration while increasing the profitability through operational excellence and process improvement. The position requires a leader with proven experience in leading field and customer support teams, in developing and implementing systems, processes and best practices to support organic and acquisitive growth. Overall, the COO will be involved across all aspects of the business and will be as comfortable in the board room as out in the field. This role requires a high-energy, process-oriented leader who can implement best practices and operational excellence across the organization.
This position offers an attractive compensation package, which includes a strong base salary, bonus and a compelling equity incentive.
