Position Summary:
We are seeking Chemist Level 1 candidates to join our pharmaceutical manufacturing team. The successful candidate will perform routine laboratory analyses and support quality control activities in compliance with GMP regulations and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform analytical testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products using established laboratory procedures.
- Document all laboratory activities and results accurately in accordance with cGMP and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure proper calibration, maintenance, and operation of laboratory equipment.
- Support validation activities and participate in investigations related to quality events, deviations, and non-conformances.
- Assist in the preparation of test reports, standard operating procedures, and protocols.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Chemistry or a related field.
- Preferred: Valid Chemist License (Licencia de Qumico).
- Preferred: Experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
- Preferred: Experience with validation processes and procedures in the pharmaceutical industry.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with regulatory guidelines (GMP, FDA, etc.).
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
