Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $36.00 to $38.00 per hour.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily accounting operations for active investment funds and support fund closure activities.
• Monitor development-related costs to ensure accurate capitalization and coordinate funding requests with property managers.
• Manage corporate credit card transactions and assist with accounts payable processes.
• Execute full-cycle month-end close tasks including reconciliations, journal entries, accounts payable, and receivable.
• Prepare and distribute dividend payments in accordance with financial schedules.

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline.
• At least 2+ years of hands-on experience in accounting roles.
• Solid understanding and application of GAAP principles in financial reporting.
• Familiarity with intercompany transactions and preparation of consolidated financial statements.
• Experience in real estate accounting, particularly in development or REIT settings, is preferred.

• Demonstrated ability to manage consolidated financials, including eliminating entries.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines and maintaining accuracy.
• Proficiency in accounting systems and tools used for financial reporting and reconciliation.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and external partners.
