CERTIFIED SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS - Current, Former or Retired LPS Teachers 2024-2025 School Year Do not apply for this position if you are NOT a current, former or retired Lincoln Public Schools Teacher. Certified Substitute Teachers - Current, Former, or Retired Teachers are individuals who have been hired as certified employees (current or former) with Lincoln Public Schools.
This application does not require transcripts or retaking the Gallup survey as part of the application process.
Substitute teachers are those who hold a bachelor degree (or higher) in education
- Requires Nebraska Teaching or State Substitute certificate
- Daily rate of pay for full day is $177.47 (2024-2025 rate pending)
- Daily rate of pay for half day is $88.73 (2024-2025 rate pending)
- Applicants who do NOT hold a degree in education, apply for the Certified, Local Substitute Teacher, 2024-2025
