Position Summary Capline Consolidated is seeking a highly skilled and entrepreneurial Certified General Appraiser to spearhead the launch and expansion of a new valuation division. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated professional to establish a foundational role, build a team, and lead all valuation-related business development and operations. This is a 100% commission-based role designed for a visionary leader seeking to build a profitable enterprise within a well-established firm. Key Responsibilities Lead the development and growth of a new commercial real estate appraisal division. Cultivate and manage a pipeline of new business opportunities through professional networking and client relationship management. Conduct and oversee comprehensive valuations for a diverse portfolio of commercial properties, ensuring strict adherence to USPAP and industry standards. Mentor and manage future appraiser hires, establishing and upholding best practices for the division. Collaborate with Capline's brokerage and property management teams to identify and execute on-site and off-site opportunities. Prepare and present detailed, well-supported appraisal reports that reflect a high degree of market expertise and analytical rigor. Qualifications A minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial real estate valuation. Proven track record in business development and revenue generation. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to build and manage a team. Exceptional analytical, communication, and report-writing skills. Strong understanding of the New York City commercial real estate market is highly preferred.
