Major duties: •Control consistency and quality of product. • Perform freshness checks and recondition product. • Date and rotate product. • Maintains courteous and friendly customer relations.

Responsibilities

The cake decorator is responsible for icing, decorating, merchandising, boxing, pricing, and selling cakes in the bakery.

Decorates cakes for customer orders, general sales, weddings, birthdays, and special occasions. Takes and fills customer’s orders and keeps the case full of product.

• Operates icing tools, stocks dollies, mixing machines, mechanical price marking devices, and uses Must follow food safety guidelines.
