Senior Copywriter

As a Senior Copywriter at Brains, you will be a key player on our creative team, building brands that drive our clients forward. Your words will shape the voice and tone of a wide variety of projects, from digital campaigns to print materials, ensuring that every piece of content resonates with its audience. With a deep understanding of strategy and a passion for storytelling, you will collaborate closely with our creative, strategy, and design teams to deliver impactful copy that meets client objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Concept Development & Creative Writing

  • Develop engaging and persuasive copy for a variety of platforms, including websites, social media, emails, print materials, and more.
  • Collaborate with creative teams to brainstorm and develop innovative concepts for campaigns and projects.
  • Maintain consistency in brand voice and tone across all deliverables.
  • Craft original campaign concepts and scripts for commercials, videos, and other multimedia content.
  • Craft names and narratives for new brands, ensuring a strong and cohesive storytelling approach.
  • Participate in cross-functional team ideation across a wide range of subjects and clients.
Execution & Craft

  • Understand and articulate the client's brand, objectives, and target audience to create relevant and effective copy.
  • Translate complex concepts into clear, concise, and compelling messages.
  • Work with strategy and design teams to ensure copy aligns with overall brand strategy and visual elements

  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Comfortable and effective at interacting with clients, to both understand their needs and present work.
  • Participate in client meetings, pitches, and presentations, offering insights and creative solutions.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive project execution.
Who You Are:

  • Experienced: You have 7+ years of experience in copywriting, preferably within an agency setting, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of projects and mediums.
  • Creative Thinker: You are inherently curious. You are a natural and comfortable ideator. You are not afraid of "bad ideas".
  • Storyteller: You have a knack for story, crafting original and compelling narratives that captivate and engage.
  • Brand Savvy: You understand the nuances of brand voice and can adapt your writing style to match different brands and industries.
  • Detail-Oriented: You have an eye for detail, ensuring all copy is polished, precise, and aligns with the client's objectives. You are dedicated to producing high-quality work.
  • Collaborative: You thrive in a team environment, working seamlessly with creatives, strategists, and designers to bring ideas to life.
  • Communicative: Your strong interpersonal skills allow you to collaborate effectively with all sorts of people.
  • Adaptable: You're nimble, quickly adjusting your writing style to suit different platforms, audiences, and client needs.
  • Proactive: You take initiative in seeking out new creative challenges and opportunities to enhance your skills.
