Job Description

This positions primary responsibility is to act as a bookkeeper. This position requires a customer service-oriented individual with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Play a vital part in managing financial records and ensuring the accuracy of our financial data.
• Prepare and process invoices, payments, and receipts.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities to support organizational goals.
• Generate financial reports and statements for review by management and clients.
• Utilize financial software tools to streamline bookkeeping processes.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of financial tasks.
• Follow / document processes and procedures.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by management

Minimum Skills, Education, and Experience

• Strong understanding of technical accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in using financial software such as QuickBooks, Stripe, and Square.
• Excellent budgeting skills with the ability to analyze financial data effectively.
• Strong attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills.
• Ability to follow directions and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and techniques.

Were located in Hoffman Estates, IL, but this position would essentially be remote.
