Hirsch & Westheimer, P.C. seeks to hire one or more Bankruptcy Attorneys in its Bankruptcy Practice for Immediate Opening
Qualifications
· The ideal candidates will have a strong background in business and commercial bankruptcy law, preferably creditor-side with a proven track record of handling complex cases and a book of business
· Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
· Active license to practice law in Texas
· 5 years plus of experience in bankruptcy law and practice
· Demonstrated ability to manage a caseload independently
· Strong analytical, research, and writing skills
· Excellent negotiation and communication abilities
· Desire to develop and maintain a book of business (portable book of business is welcomed but not required)
· Experience with high-stakes business/commercial/bankruptcy cases and complex legal issues, with emphasis on creditor representation
· Established network within the Houston legal community, particularly bankruptcy bar
· Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
