Job Title: Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in Dallas. This is a 100% onsite, contract-to-hire position with a focus on systems engineering, networking, and light security tasks. The ideal candidate will have a blended background in systems/servers and networking, with some experience in security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain systems and servers, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.



• Handle networking tasks, including configuration and troubleshooting of network devices.



• Perform security-related tasks such as vulnerability management and alert monitoring.



• Collaborate with third-party networking vendors and the internal patch management team.



• Utilize and manage security tools including CrowdStrike, Tenable.io Nessus, Proofpoint, and 365 security tools.



• Work with systems/networking tools and technologies such as 365/Azure, Windows Server, Active Directory, vSphere, Nutanix, HPE Nimble, Juniper, and Palo Alto.



• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, demonstrating polished communication skills.



• Thrive in a small team environment, wearing multiple hats as needed.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in systems/server and networking roles within Microsoft and Juniper/Palo Alto environments.



• Some experience with security tasks and tools (CrowdStrike, Tenable.io Nessus, Proofpoint, 365 security tools).



• Strong understanding of systems/networking tools and technologies (365/Azure, Windows Server, Active Directory, vSphere, Nutanix, HPE Nimble, Juniper, Palo Alto).



• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.



• Ability to work effectively in a small team environment and adapt to various roles as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with one or more of the specified security tools.



• A proactive and self-motivated approach to problem-solving and task management.
