A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN AUTOMOTIVE STATE INSPECTOR As an Automotive State Inspector, you are a key component to our services and profitability. With your experience and skills, you perform state inspections of customers' vehicles. You take your job seriously and ensure that you perform thorough and accurate inspections on every vehicle. To inform our customers and help them feel comfortable, you warmly greet them and clearly explain the inspection process. You then work with service staff to provide the maintenance needed for each car to meet state requirements. You feel good about keeping customers safe on the road! QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN AUTOMOTIVE STATE INSPECTOR 18 years or older Valid and current state inspector license with no violations Ability to walk or stand for several hours at a time in the elements, as well as bend and reach comfortably, climb steps, and lift heavy objects Are you detail-oriented and organized? Can you manage your time well and prioritize multiple tasks accordingly? Do you have excellent communication skills, both in writing and verbally?
