Associate APEX Developer at Oracle in Boise, Idaho, United States Job Description Job Description We're looking for an associate (3+ years experience) Oracle Application Express developer to join our team to assist with the design, development & deployment of an Oracle Cloud IoT service. The candidate is a self-starter comfortable with full-cycle design and standards-based development. Experience with data modeling, PL/SQL, JavaScript/TypeScript and general web development are definitely required. Experience with a DevOps pipeline using JIRA & Git is desirable. Daily tasks involve working with the product team to transform requirements into specifications and then transforming those specifications into a working APEX application and features that enable development of APEX-based application on the Oracle Cloud IoT service. You'll be building APEX applications on the latest release of APEX, and will be required to write backend PL/SQL code using a suite of APIs to compliment the applications. You will also work on high-profile proof-of-concept applications that integrate the latest available products and services in Oracle's Cloud. Security is a major area of emphasis in the design, implementation and delivery of the applications you'll be working on. Most applications you'll work on Interact with RESTful web services. The ideal candidate has the following skills and experience: + At least three years of Oracle Application Express experience + At least three years of experience working with most of the following (OK if you are less experienced on a couple): + Oracle Database + Data Modeling + PL/SQL + HTML + CSS + Web Development + JavaScript and/or TypeScript + Oracle JET components + JSON / RESTful Web Services + Git + Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate with people and teams across the organization Career Level - IC2 Responsibilities As a member of the software engineering division, you will perform detailed design based on provided high level design specifications. Assist in system planning, scheduling and implementation. Build enhancements (including new product features) and resolve bugs. Build and execute unit test and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Interact with QA and porting engineering about problems in the code.
