Job Description
Beloit College invites applications for a tenure track faculty position in analytical chemistry to begin August 2026. The successful candidate will hold a Ph.D. in chemistry or related field and be able to teach lab-based courses in general chemistry and analytical chemistry. Willingness to teach courses in another area of chemistry (such as physical or organic chemistry) is preferred. We especially seek candidates who have demonstrated success in working with diverse populations of students. This position is an excellent opportunity to teach in a department known for innovative pedagogy.
The successful candidate will also develop a research program that engages undergraduates. This position places strong emphasis on advising undergraduate students in Chemistry, Environmental Chemistry and Biochemistry, and our multidisciplinary programs in Health Sciences and Environment & Sustainability. The candidate will also have the opportunity to contribute to all-college programs and serve in leadership roles in campus governance.
