Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting & Analysis:
  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Analyze financial data and generate reports to support business decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory standards.
• Cost Accounting & Inventory Management:
  • Monitor and analyze manufacturing costs, variances, and profitability.
  • Oversee inventory accounting, including reconciliations and valuation.
  • Work closely with operations to ensure accurate cost tracking and reporting.
• Budgeting & Forecasting:
  • Assist in the development of annual budgets and periodic financial forecasts.
  • Provide variance analysis and recommend cost-saving opportunities.
  • Support long-term financial planning and strategy.
• Internal Controls & Compliance:
  • Maintain and improve internal control procedures to safeguard company assets.
  • Support audits (internal & external) by preparing necessary documentation.
  • Ensure tax compliance and assist with regulatory filings.
• Process Improvement & Systems Management:
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Work with ERP and financial systems to ensure data integrity.
  • Assist in software upgrades and integrations related to financial reporting.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as an Assistant Controller or Senior Accountant is required
• Previous experience in the Manufacturing Industry is required
• Previous experience with ERP is required, EPICOR is a plus
• Expert with Microsoft Excel
• Previous experience with Cost Accounting is required
• Bachelor's Degree is a plus
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, cost accounting, and financial reporting.
• Bills of Material experience
