Job Title: Assembler - Spiral Doors

Job Description

We are looking for dedicated and team-oriented assemblers to build high-speed automatic industrial spiral doors from the ground up. Each door is slightly customized for each customer, ensuring a dynamic and engaging work environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and assemble spiral doors according to blueprints and customer specifications.
• Read and interpret prints and use various hand and power tools such as drill punch, grinder, heat gun, and impact drill.
• Lift up to 50 lbs as required and stand for the entire shift.
• Utilize basic math skills, including fractions, and read from a ruler to map out the length of parts.
• Work in teams using overhead cranes and lifting platforms to facilitate assembly.
• Cross-train in every area of assembly to become familiar with the company, products, and culture.

Essential Skills

• At least 6 months of experience using hand and power tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for the entire shift.
• Basic math skills, including fractions, and proficiency in reading from a ruler.

Work Environment

The work environment is very clean and team-oriented. While it is not climate-controlled, it does not get too hot due to the limited number of fabrication machines. The facility operates with overhead cranes and lifting platforms, providing a safe and efficient workspace. The dress code is casual, with hours from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Shift hours are flexible, with options to start at 5:00 AM or 5:30 AM and work until 2:30 PM or 3:00 PM respectively. Mandatory 9-hour shifts are currently in place from Monday to Friday, with optional overtime.

This is a Permanent position based out of Jackson, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43680.00 - $43680.00/yr.
