Position Summary

We are currently seeking experienced Armed Security Officers who has a desire to be successful and demonstrate great leadership skills in a tactical and operational environment. The Armed Security Officer one who demonstrates leadership abilities and the ability to be a strong team member. possesses organizational skills, detailed oriented, articulate and exemplifies excellent customer service.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provides security protection for all organizational facilities and personnel within areas of responsibility to prevent unauthorized access, theft or intentional destruction
• With a Senior Security Officer, responds to unusual or emergency situations using the appropriate degree of physical force and or weaponry as situation dictates. Maintain proficiency with all assigned weapons as required.
• Assists in patrolling and protecting the facilities by foot and/or vehicle to detect or prevent illegal/unauthorized activities.
• Assists in monitoring the flow of personnel and vehicular traffic entering and exiting the building/property.
• Assists in monitoring personnel/tenants/visitor access, verify valid personal and organization I.D.
• Maintains and updates visitor logs, commercial deliveries and outside contractors entering and exiting the facility.
• Remain alert for potential security, property or safety concerns and initiate the appropriate actions by notifying senior personnel.
• Monitors electronic perimeter control devises to detect any unauthorized entry into facility, respond to protective alarm signals and communicates any detection to the appropriate level of supervision
• Perform escort duties as appropriate.
• Participates in a variety of training activities/programs designed to assure employees are capable of fulfilling their day-to-day and/or emergency response duties.
• Maintains an in-depth knowledge of all Security Operation Procedures and Security Post Orders, written and oral, pertaining to assigned duties.
• Prevents unauthorized entry into the Client premises and upon detection, isolates, and escorts individual(s) to a containment area and/or removal from premises.
• Maintains proficiency with all assigned weapons as required.
• The ability to Act as lead guard when supervisor is not on site.

Skills Required

• Provide exceptional customer service at all times in order to exceed our clients’ expectations.
• Must be able to communicate well, both verbally and in writing
• Knowledge of security operations and procedures, post orders, Firearm/Weapons Safety Policy a Use of Force Policy
• Detail oriented and the ability to multitask
• As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background investigation and a drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws

Physical Requirements

• Occasional lifting of objects up to 30 pounds.
• The ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, reach, kneel, push and or pull for extended time periods
• Work is routinely performed in office environments and in the field.

Pay : $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
