Arium AE, an energetic architecture and engineering design firm with 36 years of experience, is seeking an entry-level Architect to join our growing mid-sized team. We are a well-established design practice with commercial, industrial, institutional, and government projects throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. Our integrated design studio of architects, engineers, and interior designers provides a full range of services, from schematic design to construction administration, for a wide range of new construction and interior renovation projects. Our project types include commercial offices, industrial and warehouses, data centers, secure government facilities, institutional facilities, biotech and healthcare facilities, and restaurant and retail spaces.

We are currently hiring for the following position:

Architect – SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER/SENIOR PROJECT DESIGNER

Applicant should be:

1. Motivated to excel
2. Able to work both independently and in a team setting
3. Able to lead a team in new construction and renovation projects, including religious, commercial, industrial, and multi-family residential sectors
4. Capable of managing multiple projects, organizing workflow, and delegating tasks to others
5. Capable of clearly communicating design concepts visually, in written text, and verbally to clients
6. Adept in fostering and maintaining relationships with clients and consultants

Applicant requirements and preferred qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in architecture from an accredited four-year college or university
2. 12-20+ years of experience working in an A/E firm
3. Skilled in all aspects of the design process, from schematic design through construction administration
4. Construction experience a plus
5. Strong AutoCAD and/or Revit capabilities required
6. Sketchup, Photoshop, and other computer and professional skills are valued
7. Provide own transportation to local project sites
8. Must be Legal to work in the U.S.

Job Type: Full-time, in-person, Monday - Friday Salary: Salary commensurate with ability.

Experience:

• AutoCAD: 5 year (Preferred)
