We are representing an online gaming organization that is disrupting the sports industry. They are seeking their first true accounting hire that will be the foundation of their entire department and can easily grow into a Controller within the near future.
They are seeking someone with a big 4, CPA background.

Job Details
Responsibilities:
Own the monthly, quarterly and year-end accounting close processes and preparation of financial statements in accordance with US GAAP
Oversee & manage expenses, collecting receipts and ensuring accuracy of records
Assist the Head of Finance with budgeting and forecasting
Understand product offerings, including accounting implications for all verticals
Lead the migration of our ERP system from QuickBooks to NetSuite
Provide support to external auditors for annual audit review
Research, document and implement new accounting policies/procedures as needed
Qualifications:
Must be comfortable being 100% onsite in Miami
Bachelor's degree in accounting; CPA preferred
Must have online /sportsbook betting experience
3-6 years experience preferably at a Big Four Accounting Firm and/or in internally in the gaming / sports industry
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and standard accounting processes and controls
Experience with financial systems ERP systems, NetSuite (preferred)
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite including solid Excel skills
