We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly-motivated Entry Level Accounting Clerk to join our vibrant team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to kick-start your career in the Accounting and Finance industry. The successful candidate will have the chance to work with a diverse team of professionals, gaining exposure to a variety of financial operations and contributing to the overall success of the company.
Responsibilities:
As an Accounting Clerk, your primary role will be to maintain and manage the financial health of the organization. You will be working directly under the supervision of our experienced Accounting Manager, and your responsibilities will include:
1. Assisting with the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and financial forecasts.
2. Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely and accurate payment and invoicing.
3. Assisting in the preparation and coordination of the audit process.
4. Implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures.
5. Reconciling bank statements and conducting bank-related errands.
6. Assisting in month-end procedures and maintaining the general ledger.
7. Providing administrative support to the accounting department as required.
Qualifications:
We are looking for a proactive individual who is ready to dive into the world of accounting and finance. The ideal candidate should have:
1. A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field.
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role.
3. Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a focus on Excel.
5. Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks or SAP.
6. Strong analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
8. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
9. A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills.
