A globally leading technology company is looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Technical Writer to join the Services Engineering Documentation team. In this role, you will help craft clear, task-oriented content that supports engineering, QA, UI design, customer support, and external developers. You’ll contribute to systems architecture documentation, API references, UX writing, and more—helping shape the tools and services used across the company’s ecosystem. Key Qualifications:
- Collaborate effectively with subject matter experts and peers on the documentation team.
- Quickly understand and document complex software and related tools.
- Demonstrate an ability to create well-written, structured, detailed specifications that incorporate feedback.
- Plan and manage documentation projects with shifting requirements and goals.
- Love technical writing!
Education & Experience:
- 3+ years of technical writing experience documenting complex applications, or a degree in Technical Communication.
- BS/BA degree required in English, Communication, Computer Science, Engineering, Technical Writing, or other related degree.
- Experience with Markdown and GitHub.
- Experience with MacOS and standard macOS software.
- Experience with editing the work of other writers.
Type: Contract
Duration: 12 months (with a possibility for extension)
Work Location: Cupertino, CA (Remote)
Pay rate: $41.00 - $56.00 (DOE)
